Certification takes 2–3 weeks and is fully covered at no cost. The process has three stages: (1) Submit your application online — approved within 48 hours. (2) Complete our 8-hour AGD PACE-recognized CE course at your own pace via our learning portal. (3) Attend a 4-hour hands-on clinical workshop at our Oklahoma City facility or a regional host site. After certification, your practice is listed on the Find-a-Provider directory, your portal account is activated, and a dedicated clinical support rep is assigned to your account before your first case.
Yes, with conditions. The supervising dentist must hold a valid Infinity Aligner certification. Dental hygienists and licensed associates may perform scanning and assist in case management under the certified dentist's clinical oversight per applicable Oklahoma dental board rules. Any clinical decisions — approval of treatment plans, prescription of tooth movements — must be made by the certified supervising dentist. Contact your support rep for state-specific compliance guidance if you practice in multiple states.
Most providers treat their first patient within 3–4 weeks of applying. Timeline: application approval (48 hrs), online CE course at your pace (3–10 days typical), hands-on workshop attendance (scheduled monthly in OKC), portal activation and onboarding call (same day as workshop). From workshop completion, most providers submit their first scan within 48 hours. Your clinical rep contacts you within 24 hours of portal activation to walk through your first case submission together if you prefer.
Standard turnaround is 10–14 business days from scan or impression receipt — including 3D treatment plan review, clinical approval, and aligner production. Expedited 7-business-day service is available for established accounts. Because manufacturing is entirely based in Oklahoma City, there are zero customs delays or overseas freight risk. Most competing labs route through China or Germany, adding 3–6 weeks to the process. Replacement sets are handled with the same regional speed.
Digital scans are submitted directly via .STL upload in the provider portal — most scans are processed within minutes. For PVS impressions, ship to our Oklahoma City lab via pre-paid FedEx (labels provided in your portal). Both submission methods produce identical treatment quality. Digital submissions are significantly faster to process and avoid potential model distortion or shipping damage. We provide a detailed submission checklist for both methods in your provider onboarding kit.
Every aligner set goes through a 7-step QC protocol before shipping: (1) Digital model accuracy verification against original scan (sub-50 micron tolerance). (2) Thermoforming material batch certification check. (3) Post-trim edge smoothness inspection. (4) Per-aligner thickness measurement (controlled to ±0.05 mm). (5) Sequence and labeling verification. (6) Final fit test on printed model. (7) Sealed packaging with lot number traceability. Any set that fails any checkpoint is remade at no charge. Full ISO 13485 documentation is maintained for all cases.
The core Provider Certification Course includes 8 AGD PACE-recognized CE hours, valid in all 50 states. Additional elective advanced courses are available: Complex Malocclusion & Skeletal Discrepancies (4 CE hrs), Open Bite Protocols & Intrusion Mechanics (4 CE hrs), Full-Arch Rehabilitation & Restorative Integration (6 CE hrs), and Advanced Attachment Design (3 CE hrs). All CE documentation is delivered electronically within 24 hours of course completion.
Any digital intraoral scanner is compatible: iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, Medit i700, Carestream, Planmeca, and others. High-quality PVS impressions with accurate stone models are also accepted at no premium. We supply the treatment planning software, provider portal, and all case management tools at zero cost. No proprietary hardware is required. Most practices submit their first case within 48 hours of certification completion.
Yes. The provider portal includes a progress tracking module where you log aligner stage, wear compliance, and any clinical notes at each check-in. The system overlays the patient's current status against their approved 3D treatment plan and flags any deviation that may require a refinement scan or in-office adjustment. Providers who log check-in data regularly have measurably lower refinement rates. Patients can also access a read-only progress view through a dedicated patient-facing link you send them.
Yes — our planning platform supports Class I, II, and III corrections, anterior and posterior crossbite correction, deep bite intrusion, open bite closure, and full-arch rehabilitation including restorative integration. Complex cases are flagged during planning review and assigned to a senior clinical planner. We recommend completing the Advanced Malocclusion elective CE course before submitting your first complex case. Our clinical team is available for a pre-submission case consult call at any time.
Within 3–5 business days of scan receipt, our clinical planning team produces a full 3D treatment simulation using our sub-millimeter AI-assisted planning platform. You receive a secure review link in the portal. From there you can: approve the plan as presented, request specific modifications (IPR depth, staging sequence, attachment placement), or reject and request a full re-plan. Once approved, production begins immediately. A photorealistic SmilePreview is also generated for patient consultation — showing projected final alignment from multiple angles.
Attachments are designed by our clinical planning team based on the prescribed tooth movements and are displayed in your 3D treatment simulation for your review and modification before approval. Standard composite attachments (horizontal, vertical, beveled) are placed using the attachment template trays included in every applicable case shipment. Attachment placement is straightforward and typically completed in 15–20 minutes per arch. Detailed chairside placement guides are included in every case kit and accessible in the provider portal. If you prefer to modify attachment positions or shapes, you can annotate directly on the 3D plan before approving.
At or near the end of an aligner sequence, take a new intraoral scan and submit a Refinement Request through your portal. Our planning team compares the new scan against the originally approved final position and produces a refined plan to close any remaining discrepancy. The first refinement is included at no additional cost for all standard and complex cases. Additional refinement rounds after the first are billed at a significantly reduced rate. Most cases require one refinement or none — the 7-step QC process and compliant daily wear are the main predictors of a refinement-free outcome.
Log a replacement order directly in your provider portal — it takes under 2 minutes. Because manufacturing is regional, most replacements are produced and shipped within 7–10 business days. Your clinical rep will advise whether the patient should hold at the current stage or advance depending on how far they are in treatment and how long the aligner was worn. Emergency rush service (4–5 business days) is available for active mid-treatment cases.
Yes. In Oklahoma, clear aligner therapy is unambiguously within the scope of practice of licensed general dentists, orthodontists, and other licensed dental specialists with prescribing authority. The Oklahoma State Board of Dentistry considers clear aligners a Category A orthodontic appliance requiring a valid dental license to prescribe. Our CE certification program is designed to ensure competency, not to grant scope of practice. You are responsible for verifying your own state licensure status if practicing in multiple states. Our compliance team can provide state-specific guidance for Oklahoma and neighboring states (TX, KS, MO, AR).
As the prescribing dentist, you bear clinical responsibility for patient assessment, candidacy determination, treatment plan approval, monitoring, and outcomes — identical to any other orthodontic appliance you prescribe. Infinity Aligner provides the manufacturing and planning support, but clinical decision-making authority and responsibility remain with you. Ensure your professional liability (malpractice) coverage includes orthodontic procedures — most general dentist policies cover this, but verify with your carrier. We provide a model informed-consent form for your patients that you can adapt to your practice.
There are zero mandatory monthly minimums and zero recurring software or portal fees. Providers are billed per case at the published provider rate. Volume pricing tiers automatically apply as your rolling 12-month case count grows. Your certification, training, marketing materials, portal access, planning review, and dedicated rep support are all permanently included at no charge. There are no hidden fees — the only cost is the per-case manufacturing rate.
Most certified providers charge patients between $3,500 and $6,500 depending on case complexity and their market. After the per-case lab fee, average provider margin is typically $2,800–$4,200 per case. Providers who offer flexible financing (CareCredit, Lending Club) report 30–40% higher case acceptance rates. Providers completing more than 20 cases per rolling 12 months qualify for our Preferred Provider tier, which includes reduced per-case rates and priority planning queue.
Invoices are generated automatically when a case is shipped, not when submitted. You receive an email invoice with a direct portal payment link. Payment methods accepted: ACH/bank transfer (no fee), major credit cards (2.9% processing fee), and monthly consolidated invoice (available to Preferred and Elite tier providers). Net-30 payment terms are available for established accounts with 6+ months of billing history. All invoicing, payment history, and case financials are accessible in the provider portal under the Billing tab.
Every certified provider receives: patient brochures (print-ready PDF + digital web version), a 60-piece branded social media content library, email campaign templates, a co-branded landing page option, a consultation script, and an objection-handling guide. Your practice is prominently listed in our Find-a-Provider directory with your photo, contact details, and provider tier badge. We push quarterly content updates to all providers. There is no recurring fee for any of these materials — ever.
Yes — our Group Practice and DSO Partnership Program offers volume-consolidated billing, a single group rep, centralized portal management for all locations, custom co-branded materials, priority planning queue, and a dedicated training schedule for new staff. Groups with 3+ locations qualify automatically. Enterprise agreements with custom pricing are available for DSO groups with 10+ locations. Contact our partnerships team at info@infinityalignerok.com to start a conversation.
Infinity Aligner has four provider tiers based on rolling 12-month case volume: Standard (0–9 cases/yr): full support, standard turnaround, standard per-case rate. Preferred (10–24 cases/yr): reduced per-case rate, priority planning queue, co-brand marketing package. Elite (25–49 cases/yr): further reduced rate, dedicated clinical planner, featured placement in the provider directory, quarterly business review. Premier (50+ cases/yr): best-in-class per-case rate, same-day planning review SLA, joint marketing opportunities, direct line to clinical leadership. Tier status is reviewed automatically every 12 months. Promotions apply immediately when you cross a threshold — no waiting period.
The Infinity Aligner provider portal operates independently from practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) — no plugin or IT setup required. You log in via browser at any device. For practices that want deeper integration, we provide a structured CSV export of all case data (patient reference codes, submission dates, invoice amounts, aligner counts) that can be imported into most practice management systems. A direct API integration with Dentrix Ascend is currently in development with an estimated Q4 2026 launch.
